Compact rechargeable 405 nm violet laser in an 11.2 cm body.
The V2 Pro is the pocket version of our violet Pro laser. It has the same 405 nm violet (purple) dot in a shorter 11.2 cm aluminium body, running on a rechargeable 16340 cell with a charger in the box. If you like the look of violet light and want a laser you can actually carry, this is the one.
It is class 2, up to 1 mW – the class intended for sale to the public in the UK – and measured before shipping.
Violet is the shortest-range colour we sell because the eye is least sensitive to it. Indoors and after dark it looks great; in daylight the dot fades quickly beyond about 10 metres. That is not a fault of the laser – every colour we sell is the same class 2 output – it is simply how human vision works. So use the V2 Pro for evening pointing, dim rooms and short distances, and pick a green laser pointer for birds, stars or anything far away.

Charge the 16340 battery in the supplied PowerFox charger before first use; it charges outside the laser. Small batteries empty sooner than the 18650 in the V1 Pro, though a charge still lasts at least about a month with normal use, so a charged spare is useful. A second PowerFox charger takes both sizes, one battery at a time.
The V2 Pro has no key lock. Store it switched off and out of children’s reach; it is not a toy and is sold to adults (18+) only. Never aim it at people, animals’ eyes, vehicles, aircraft or reflective surfaces. Our safety page has the details.
